Boat holiday in Saint Tropez: the Queen of the French Riviera

Discover the French Riviera by boat between the VIPs and the ‘dolce vita’

A boat holiday in Saint Tropez brings to mind a VIP  holiday.  In fact this small seaside town has become, in recent years, one of the favourite destinations of TV personalities.

In the harbour, where the shipyards were once located, you can now see the most modern and luxurious yachts moored. But Saint Tropez offers an all round holiday; between sea, relaxation, good food and wild nightlife.  Renting a boat to discover Saint Tropez and the French Riviera is the best way to experience a holiday from a new perspective.

Boat holiday in Saint Tropez: discovering the village

Choosing a private cruise  allows you to experience the beauty of Saint Tropez and at the same time to easily explore the nearby beaches of the French Riviera. A day of vacation should begin in the area of the Vieux Port, where the aromas of the market will inebriate the senses.

Before leaving for an excursion, you can stock up on fresh products, perfect for preparing one of the local specialities back on board. And after a coffee in one of the typical cafes of the area, we will be ready to discover some of the most beautiful beaches of the French Riviera.

French Riviera by boat: the VIPs beach

Do we want a beach that is really exclusive? Then the destination must be Plage de Pampelonne, the longest in all of Saint Tropez with its 5 kms of sand. You’ll find the beach clubs and bars along the entire beach often frequented by sport stars and TV personalities.

If instead we want to relax, we can drop anchor in front of the beaches of Plage de Bouillabaisse and Plage des Salins, which are decidedly less crowded.

Rent a sailing boat for a private cruise on the French Riviera is also the opportunity to discover those quieter coves and bays. Often only reachable by sea, these are places where you can swim and sunbathe in total freedom.

Boat holiday in Saint Tropez: a sunset aperitif

The end of the day is the moment to return to the harbour and enjoy an aperitif in one of the many bars that directly overlook the sea. And after a freshly caught fish dinner a special night on our boat awaits us.

The light of the stars and the unique atmosphere that a boat offers will add that touch of style and exclusivity to our holiday.

A tour of the French Riviera for a special travel experience

We can choose a private cruise or even to  sleep on a boat with a bed and boat stay, but a travel experience is the thing that really makes our holiday. Why not try a tour of the French Riviera by bike?  Pedalling without any rush, we can stop to capture the most beautiful panoramas and discover the most charming places. Or even discover somewhere really unique, a symbol of luxury and elegance, such as the Principality of Monaco, on a tour that will have us mingling with the jet set.

A boat holiday in Saint Tropez is the perfect choice for experiencing the French Riviera in total relaxation, far from the crowds and in maximum comfort.
