Sleep on a boat (Static Charter):
If you choose the option to sleep on a boat, you stay onboard, moored in the Marina. Choose the location, the boat and book your stay.
In this way you can relax on board and enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the Marina with the possibility of adding extras such as memorable dinners etc. Just like in the best hotels, but with something more, because the charm of a boat is unique and every moment is unforgettable. A day on a moored boat has no schedule, no deadlines, no commitments. Apart from perhaps enjoying a leisurely breakfast on deck, when you feel ready. Even a simple coffee tastes different when enjoyed in the sun whilst looking out to sea.
Private cruise:
f you choose the private cruise option, the boat will be at your disposal for sailing with an experienced captain to explore the coast and all those places unreachable from the land.

Free cancellation within 1 day of the check-in date.
Refund in case of cancellation by the host even after the free cancellation terms.
The host must accept within 24 hours. If the host does not accept / declines the reservation no amount will be charged.

Letyourboat is the new online platform that connects and assists boat owners and guests looking for on board experiences.
Hosting on board is very simple.
Both private owners and companies can rent their boats for leisure activities, both moored or out at sea in complete safety.
Are you away from your boat? You can enjoy a unique support service. You can choose to be connected to one of our Guest Assistants: one of our selected professional partners in the Marina, who can take care of the check-in/check-out, boat inspection and cleaning services for you.
We handle payments on behalf of the guests and pay you the balance of the rental less our management fees at 15%. If you have chosen to make use of our Guest Assistant, we manage the payments made by the guest for the services and pay the fees directly to the Guest Assistant.
Letyourboat provides owners who require it with a check-in, check-out and onboard cleaning service through a network of Guest Assistants who are selected professionals operating in the Marina. Our network of collaborators are nautical operators who work in ports and marinas.
Letyourboat ensures that your sailing holidays are safe, economical and guaranteed. We make your stay on the boat a unique and carefree experience.
We provide compulsory insurance to our guests, which includes third party civil liability and damage to the boats.

With the option of a Static Charter, the boat stays moored in the Marina, which you will find on our website called ‘Bed and Boat’, or ‘Sleep on a boat’.

In the option “private cruise”, the boat is rented for sailing and it will be indicated whether the skipper is included in the price or upon request at an extra charge.
In the option “Sleep on a boat”, or Static Charter, the boat will remain moored in the Marina.
The boat can be driven by the owner himself, user (in the case of leasing) or by other people, whether they are your customers or third parties. Obviously, for boats over 40 hp, a boat license will be mandatory for anyone wishing to drive.
Article 49 of the nautical code states that fuel, water and lubricants necessary for the operation of the motor, must be provided by the renting guest. However, it is written that alternative arrangements can be made between the parties.

With the option of a Static Charter, the boat stays moored in the Marina, which you will find on our website called ‘Bed and Boat’, or ‘Sleep on a boat’.
Whether you are a private individual or a legal entity it is legal. You can rent your boat while stationary or sailing at sea.
Even those who deal with charters will find a precious ally in Letyourboat because we can help them earn even when their boats are moored and not at sea during low season, plus the advantage of an additional channel to expand their classic charter business.
A Guest Assistant is one of our selected, professional collaborators, available in each Marina.
The Guest Assistant takes care of the check-in/check-out, boat inspection and cleaning, on request, for the boat owner.
We will send you the rental contract which can be used with your guests and must be signed and kept on board during the rental period, and then retained for your records.
The balance is paid after your guests check-out and is net of 15% site fees, plus (if requested by you and carried out by the relevant Guest Assistant) check-in/check-out and cleaning services. These costs are covered by the booking and charged/billed to your guest. This implies that when you make your end of year tax return, the net amount will be subject to tax.
At your request and at a cost of €10 per booking, which will be deducted from the balance, we can manage the administrative procedures for you in order to provide a turnkey service. Administrative procedures include sending the forms to the Port Authority and the Revenue Agency before check in. In this link you can download the standards to be compiled.
The host has a maximun of 24 hours to accept. If the host does not accept or refuses the reservation, no amount will be charged.
As with any type of rental/hire, you can be asked by the Host for a security deposit prior to check-in. In this case, the security deposit is retained by Letyourboat at the time of booking and will be returned to the Guest upon check-out, once the boat has been inspected and the end of rental form signed.
At the time of registration, the host must enter payment details (Paypal and/or current account). If the host enters both payment methods, LetyourBoat will make the payment to the PayPal address provided.
We provide a check-in, check-out and on-board cleaning service through a network of professionals present in the Marina. Our Guest Assistants are present in many Italian marinas, and where this service is not available, the owner of the boat takes care of all the operations.
The boat can be driven by the owner himself, user (in the case of leasing) or by other people, whether they are your customers or third parties. Obviously, for boats over 40 hp, a boat license will be mandatory for anyone wishing to drive.
Whoever takes the “LEASE” of a sailing boat normally also assumes the command and is jointly liable with the driver of the boat for any damage caused to third parties unless he can prove that the circulation of the boat took place against his will. The lessor, therefore, remains on land and awaits his return before verifying at check-out, that everything is in order. “RENTAL” is a different scenario. In this case, the owner, or charterer, is responsible for having a guest or guests (the renters) on board to spend a certain period of time at sea. Where to navigate is decided by the owner, who continues to have the availability (and command) of the boat. If there were a technical crew on board, it would be employed by the owner.
